Live Edge Hickory Price LIst
Our hickory pricing is very straightforward. We measure the slab width in 3 spots, and the average width measurement determines the price per board foot. Please note that the prices below are for rough cut hickory slabs. Flattening, sanding, and finishing will cost more than the price structure in the chart below. Flattening and sanding services are available for $80/hour and finishing services are available by quote only.

Hickory Slab Information
Hickory is typically a straight-grained wood. It has a pale sapwood that's yellowish-brown in color and a medium brown heartwood. It also can be distinguished by little black specs in the wood. Hickory is the hardest wood we offer, making it extremely durable for any project. Hickory is commonly referred to as shagbark hickory or calico hickory.
