Shipping, Return, and Refund Policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at our store. The following are the terms and conditions that constitute our shipping, return, and refund policies. Please contact us before ordering if you have any questions about our policies.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING POLICY

Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 3-5 business days unless additional services such as table making, sanding, or flattening were purchased. If custom services were purchased, this time can be as long as 15 business days. Typically turnaround times are much faster, but it depends of availability. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.  If you need your slab or table by a certain date, please talk with our team before ordering.

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

We use freight to ship products or our team can deliver locally.  Depending on where you are located in the United States, shipping can take a handful of business days.

If freight is needed, you will be charged the cost of freight plus $200 for materials and labor to build a shipping crate.  We highly prefer local pickup on orders.

Shipment  Addresses

The Lancaster Live Edge store can ship to addresses within the U.S. in the lower 48 states. We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.  Shipping may not be available on all products.

Delivery Notes

All delivered tables will require assembly. This should only take a few minutes, as it will be just mounting the tabletop to the base.

Customs, Duties and Taxes

The Lancaster Live Edge store is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).  We charge a PA state sales tax of 6%.

Damages

We are not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.  Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

If you ordered a slab, table, or other piece from us and picked it up, the piece must be stored properly indoors or defects such as warping will occur.  Please contact us if you have questions about storing your piece.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING POLICY

We currently do not ship outside the U.S.

RETURNS POLICY

We do not accept returns on slabs or furniture. If you have any questions regarding the condition of the item please contact us prior to completing a purchase.  All slabs are rough cut unless otherwise noted or unless you add the flattening and sanding option.  Please inspect your pieces upon pickup to ensure they're the specs you need.  Lancaster Live Edge is not responsible for any damage after the table, slab, or other piece leaves our possession.  Please research how to properly care for piece prior to picking it up or ask us any questions you may have.  Proper storage is absolutely essential when dealing with live edge wood slabs and live edge slab tables.

If you are purchasing

REFUNDS

Due to the complexity of shipping these large items, we do not offer returns or refunds on products that are delivered unless all shipping costs are paid for in full. All sales through the website are final.

If you are not happy with how your custom piece turned out, we will refund your downpayment if this is stated before picking it up or delivery.  We will not rebuild the piece. All sales are final once the piece leaves our shop.

If you purchase a finished piece from our showroom that requires additional work such as cutting the slab shorter, downpayments we will not refunded for any reason after the slab has been cut shorter.  Please review our showroom policy for more information on buying pre-finished pieces.
