Wall-Mounted Live Edge Slab Desks

If you are local to the Lancaster Area, we can assemble them. If not, we can simply send the slabs and mounts needed and you will be responsible for assembly.

We typically use shelf-like brackets made from lumber that's the same species as the slab. To mount these pieces, simply predrill your pilot holes over the studs on your wall, then screw the mount to the wall.

A few things to remember with assembling these desks:

• Live edge slabs are heavy, so you'll want to make sure you hit the studs.  They are typically every 16" on your wall, and can be found using a stud finder.
• Be sure to predrill your holes.  If you don't the mounts may split.
• You'll want to use a level to ensure the mounts are level with each other so the desk mounts correctly.

Yes!  Choose the exact live edge slab you'd like by viewing our inventory online or contacting us to schedule a visit to our facility.  We have slabs in the following species available:

• Ash
• Black Or English Walnut
• Cherry
• Maple
• Sycamore
• Oak

Typically yes.  So the desks mount flush to the wall, they only have a live edge on one side. We will rip cut the backside of the slab, so if you have a desired desk width, we can cut it to that.  Please note that the width won't be exact as the live edge will vary in width across the desktop.

We recommend measuring where feels the best to you.  This will vary from person to person.  For our average customer, we mount them so the top of the desk is 32" from the floor.
